Greetings from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction's faculty, staff, and students!
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction has a strong tradition at SIU. Our mission encompasses the three-fold mission to which SIU and the College of Education and Human Services are committed: Teaching, Research, and Service.
The structure of coursework offered in C&I affords students the optimal environment for developing critical thinking skills. Our small class sizes encourage group discussion, collaborative learning, and help facilitate one-on-one time with our instructors.
