EDUCATION and Training on Feeding Your Children (EAT)
For early childhood professionals, parents, family members and caregivers about feeding young children. We believe that the more information that one has regarding feeding difficulties for infants, toddlers and preschoolers can positively impact their feeding experiences and their development. When we began looking into feeding, we did not find many resources, especially for infants, toddlers and preschoolers who were having feeding difficulties. Therefore, we have provided evidence-based practice strategies and interventions to address feeding difficulties from a developmental perspective. This website was developed to address feeding topics that are not formally addressed elsewhere. The E.A.T. website offers educational materials such as topical handouts, training materials, and resources as well as links to feeding-related websites and organizations. It is our hope that parents, family members, caregivers and early childhood professionals can utilize this website to gain knowledge and strategies to better meet the feeding needs of young children in their care.
