Recognizing rehabilitation students

Numerous outstanding masters level graduate students were recognized for they achievement in Rehabilitation at the Guy A. Renzaglia Lecture and Rehabilitation Institute Awards Ceremony on April 5, 2016 at the SIU Student Center.
The annual awards ceremony was named after Guy Renzaglia, a nationally recognized champion for the disable and founder of the acclaimed Rehabilitation Institute at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Renaglia began the rehabilitation counseling program at SIU in 1955 and for 25 years he devoted himself to building a program that still ranks among the top such programs in the country.
Renzaglia died in 2010 but his legacy continues on through the institute, its faculty and outstanding student contributions in continuing cutting-edge research and developing learning material for students across the country.
The College of Education and Human Services and the Rehabilitation Institute congratulate the awardees of the Guy A. Renzaglia award.
