We have Spirit
This Friday, Sept. 30, the Saluki Spirit Table will be inside the Student Center on the south end of the building from 11-12:30. This week the Saluki Women's Softball team will be represented, including Dept. of Kinesiology exercise science majors Merri Anne Patterson (centerfielder) & Savannah Fisher (utility infielder), & sport administration major, Sydney Jones (catcher/infielder). Last week, Saluki Volleyball player Abby Barrow (outside hitter, exercise science) was at the Spirit Table giving lessons on volleyball netplay. She had numerous people stop by the table with several folks taking photos with her and the Grey Dawg/Brown Dawg cutout (photos below). Stop by the table on Friday for some free promo items and give a big thank you to the athletes and student government members who are volunteering!

The Saluki Men's Tennis team was on the court Sept. 23-25 at the Purdue Invite, finishing the tourney with a 13-9 record. They were led by Piotr Baranski (pre-med) who won Flight B singles and the pair of Michal Kianicka (economics) and Alex Pozo (management) who took Flight A doubles. The team returns to action this weekend on Oct. 1 in Tulsa, OK for the ITA All-American Tourney. Catch up with them on their Twitter feed:
The Women's and Men's Saluki Swimming & Diving Teams dive into their 2016-17 season with a meet this Friday (Sept. 30) and Sat (Oct. 1) at Evansville. Outside hitter and exercise science major, Abby Barrow was named Saluki Student Athlete Of The Week.
The Saluki Women's Volleyball team is now 12-5 on the season and 3-0 in the MVC as they won back-to-back home matches over UNI and Drake on Friday and Saturday, then made the long trip to Missouri St. to take out the Bears in a come-from-behind, 5-set thriller on Monday night. The team is back in action at Bradley this Friday (Sept. 30) and Loyola on Sat (Oct. 1). Both matches start at 7 PM and if you aren't making the trip north, you can watch them online on ESPN3.

Come on out to Kay Brechtelsbauer Field at Charlotte West Stadium on this Sat, Oct. 1 for a Saluki Softball double header vs. Lake Land and SLU, at 2 and 4 PM, respectively. Softball is 5-1 this fall season after splitting a double-header with Jefferson College and SEMO this past Saturday
The Saluki Football team is back on the field as they kick off their conference season at UNI at 4 PM on Sat.Oct. 1. If you aren't making the trip to the UNI-Dome, you can watch them on ESPN3 or listen on the Saluki Radio Network (105.1).
