Erica Jowett Hirst, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Dr. Jowett Hirst is the director of the CBRT Lab and provides supervision for all students. She earned her Ph.D. From the University of Kansas and has over 14 years of experience working with children, parents, and teachers.
Paige Boydston, M.S., BCBA
Paige graduated from Wichita State University with a BS in Psychology and from Pittsburg State University with an MS in Psychology (Clinical emphasis). She is currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities since February 2005. She has worked in home, community, school and residential settings with a variety of age ranges. She has a strong background in early, intensive behavioral interventions for children with autism. Her research interests include organizational behavior management, implementation of EIBI procedures and teaching programs in residential settings with adolescent/young adults, increasing staff efficiency and productivity, and the identification of variables that impact parent involvement in evidence based treatment programs.
Kayla is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy at Southern Illinois University. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy at Southern Illinois University. Her experience working with children includes providing one-on-one ABA therapy to individuals diagnosed with Autism and implementing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Kayla is currently leading a research project that evaluates teachers' preference for two common classroom management procedures. Upon graduation, Kayla hopes to earn a Master's degree in behavior analysis and then go on to work in a school setting providing ABA therapy to children. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, watching HGTV, and spending time with her dog Wrigley.
