Tonya Adams is a second year social work graduate student. Her concentration is health and mental health. In 2013, Tonya graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with her Bachelor’s degree. She has great interest in military social work and has conducted research on the effects of trauma on military spouses.
Tonya is currently completing her social work internship at the Marion VA Medical Center. She has previous experience working in substance abuse treatment. She is also a member of Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor society, as well as Phi Kappa Phi. Upon graduation, Tonya hopes to use her MSW degree to work with military families.
