Amanda Chahalis is a Masters of Social Work student who is specializing in School Social Work. Formerly an anthropologist, Amanda feels like she can connect with people from any background in any place. She has eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings.
Currently, Amanda is working as an intern with Tri-County Special Education, hoping to expand her knowledge about different types of therapies, interventions, and resources for children with special needs. In the future, Amanda would like to continue her efforts as a school social worker in the Springfield, Illinois area.
