Tara Castillo received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale in 2014. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis on health/ mental health. Tara has a special interest in working with adolescents with behavioral issues. Tara graduated from High School at Hamilton County High School in 2011. Tara received her Associate’s degree at Rend Lake College.
Currently, Tara is completely her graduate internship at COPE Alternative School in Murphysboro, IL working with children with behavioral issues who have had trauma involved in their lives. Tara plans to graduate with her Master’s Degree in Social Work May of 2016 and also with a certificate for the Trauma Based Behavioral Health Fellowship. She plans on using the information gained from the fellowship in her future career.
