Christina Gordon graduated from Southern Illinois University with her Bachelors in Social Work, May 2015. For the duration of her undergraduate senior year she interned at the Women’s Center as a Domestic Violence counselor. Currently she is continuing her education at Southern Illinois University, in the MSW Advanced Standing Program. She expects to graduate with her Masters, May 2015 with the concentrations of Children, Youth and Families.
She works as a Teacher’s Assistant at Rainbow’s End and also utilizes the necessary aids along with competencies and referrals inquired to assist the families in catering to the needs of their children’s well-being. Presently she is interning at Gateway Foundation, where she implements outpatient drug rehab programs such as family and individual counseling with adults and adolescents.
