Ginger Meyer, MSW, LCSW

Ginger Meyer, MSW, LCSW is the Clinical Director for Children’s Medical and Mental Health Resource Network. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Master of Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ginger has worked with children and child welfare issues for over fifteen years. Currently Ginger does the psychosocial assessments and crisis counseling for children with a form of child maltreatment. She has been a leader in the community to develop a children’s mental health network to increase the professional development opportunities for professionals who work with traumatized children.
Prior to working with Children’s Medical Resource Network, Ginger worked as a Family Development Specialist for the Head Start Program and administered a grant that helped families receive full day/full year services. One of her most rewarding volunteer positions was working with the March of Dimes teaching disabled children how to swim. Ginger continues her volunteer work and is involved with the youth group in her church, as well as various community boards and charities. Ginger is passionate and enthusiastic about her work and is a dynamic leader in the field of child maltreatment.
