Wendi Funk is a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator/Instructional Leader for the Southern Region Early Childhood Programs (SRECP), an Illinois State Board of Education Early Childhood Block Grant Preschool For All (PFA) Program. She has held this position since fall of 2019. Wendi coordinates services for children enrolled in SRECP’s PFA programs located within school districts in Franklin, Jackson, and Randolph counties. She works with PFA teachers, district administration, faculty, and staff to ensure children enrolled in the program are receiving high quality instruction using developmentally appropriate practices.
