You’ll learn anatomy, motor behavior, exercise physiology, fitness assessment, biomechanics, and sport/exercise psychology. That’s what makes this major a great choice for pre-med students, or students interested in careers in occupational health, physical therapy, chiropractic care, cardiac rehabilitation, exercise training for cancer survivors, athletic training, and the sport/fitness industry.

Exercise science is the study of how the human body functions during any type of physical movement, from activities of daily living to athletic performance at the highest level of sport. Our program emphasizes nutrition, injury prevention, rehabilitation, sport performance, and exercise motivation.
