Graduate Programs
The Department of Public Health and Recreation Professions at SIU Carbondale offers several graduate degrees:
- PhD in Health Education - concentration in Health Education
- MPH Community Health Education - 100% online
- Concurrent MD/MPH
- Concurrent PhD/MPH
- MS in Recreation - concentration in Administration of Recreation & Park Systems, Recreation Resource Administration, or Therapeutic Recreation

Accreditation
Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) school of Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). CEPH, is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools and programs of public health.
The Board of the Council on Education for Public Health voted to approve SIUC's Public Health Program for the maximum 7-year term allowed, September 2018.
