Dr. Jason M. Hirst, BCBA-D is an instructor in the Behavior Analysis and Therapy program. He earned his Ph.D. in behavioral psychology from the University of Kansas (2015). Jason’s specialties lie in organizational behavior management, which is the application of the principles of behavior to organizational systems and staff behavior. His current research is evaluating applications of quantitative methods and models, including concepts from behavioral economics, to organizational issues. Jason’s clinical experience is in working with human service organizations to help improve the quality of services they can provide by improving the performance of staff. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to four edited books. Jason has served on the executive committee of the Kansas Association for Behavior Analysis and is currently serving as Treasurer of the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis.
