Our Rehabilitation Institute offers four graduate level programs, providing enhanced education and expertise to enable our graduates to make a real difference in the lives of people with differing abilities.
We have Master’s Degree programs in: Behavior Analysis and Therapy, Communications Disorders and Sciences, and Counselor and Rehabilitation Education. We are also home to a Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation degree program.
Our programs consistently earn top national rankings, proof that we give our students the academic experience that will take them as far as they want to go. For instance, our Rehabilitation Counselor program ranked fourth in the nation among the 100 rehabilitation counseling programs accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education.
It’s not just about an extraordinary classroom education though. We give students the opportunity to put their education into practice in a variety of service programs, offering counseling, vocational development and placement, therapy, continuing education and more at locations throughout the community.
Hands-on learning at its finest. Making a difference in the lives of students and the world around us. That’s SIU.
