Living Learning Community

Living Learning Communities (LLCs) are residence hall communities that bring college learning into the everyday lives of students. They offer students the chance to live with others who share common interests and to interact with College faculty and staff.

Students who participate in an LLC often have higher GPAs, more positive campus experiences and are more likely to graduate on time. Potential benefits include getting to know professors and classmates better‚ greater access to academic resources‚ and specialized programs right in your residence hall.

The School of Education has its own LLC, located in Neely Hall - East Campus.

Students who live in the School of Education LLC benefit by being among the first to receive information about events, guest speakers, career opportunities and more. They also have the opportunity to get to know their faculty and classmates earlier, have greater access to academic resources, and experience specialized programs often located right in the residence hall.

If you have questions about eligibility or would like more information about our LLC, please contact Shannon Schroeder, the School of Education Recruitment and Retention Coordinator at (618) 453-6350.
