NeuroRestorative
Neurorestorative of Carbondale, IL is an acute brain injury rehabilitation center that specializes in serving the most complex cases in the country. Students learn how to work with interdisciplinary staff to design effective behavioral and neurological interventions to improve the lives of children and adults with brain injury. Students may conduct functional analyses, preference assessments, behavioral observations, among others to help identify functions and environmental barriers. They may also develop psychological interventions using Acceptance and Commitment or Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
